A database of seismic designs, nonlinear models, and seismic responses for steel moment resisting frame buildings
This article introduces the development of a comprehensive database, which includes 621 special steel moment-resisting frames designed in accordance with modern codes and standards and their corresponding nonlinear structural models and seismic responses (i.e. peak story drifts, peak floor accelerations, and residual story drifts).

Dynamic behavior of CHS-SHS tubular T-joints subjected to low-velocity impact loading
This paper describes an experimental and numerical impact investigation on dynamic behavior of CHS-SHS tubular T-joints, made up of a circular hollow section (CHS) brace and a square hollow section (SHS) chord. The analysis result showed that the impact force, displacement, and energy dissipation were linearly dependent on the impact energy of the dropped hammer, and the impact duration of the impact process was directly correlated to the impact momentum.

Ultimate strength of tubular T-joints reinforced with doubler plates after fire exposure
The post-fire static strength of doubler-plate-reinforced tubular T-joint specimens is studied through an experimental and numerical study. The influence of different parameters on strength is quantified and a new method is proposed to better deterimne the ultimate strength.

Fire-resistance behavior of completely overlapped tubular joints under lap brace axial loading
The fire resistance behavior of completely overlapped tubular joints was studied through an experimental and numerical study. A set of equations was developed to predict the joint’s critical temperature.

Hysteretic behaviour of SHS brace-H-shaped chord T-joints with transverse stiffeners
The hysteretic behaviour of square hollow section (SHS) brace-H-shaped chord T-joints with transverse stiffeners is studied via a full-scale experimental and numerical study. The influence of various parameters on hysteretic behavior is quantified.
